Hydeaway Bay is a hidden gem in the small coastal hamlet Hydeaway Bay in the Whitsunday region. A beautiful long, white, sandy beach which has five public access points where you can comb for shells on a low tide, swim and snorkel the fringing coral reef or try your luck fishing from the beach or a tin boat.

It is set within a totally un-spoilt hamlet nestled in a quiet secluded pristine bay with no holiday crowds, supermarkets, noise or busy traffic. What it does have is a low-key residential area, a quiet bush setting. It's guaranteed you will hardly see a soul. This is an unofficial beach, so please use discretion when taking a skinny dip.
