The Vassivière is a wonderful lake with a designated naturist beach, 1000 hectares in size, and is the largest lake in the heart of the Limousin.

This haven of green is nestled near the village of Royère-de-Vassivière,The artificial lake of The Vassivière offers five family beaches, four of them have shaded areas, picnic tables, wooden games, sports fields, pedal boats, canoes, mountain bikes a free taxi boat all which give magnificent views.

The unsupervised designated naturist beach named "Maillereau" offers intimate spaces on the Presqu'Ile de Chassagnas, although on this space swimming is not allowed. The nature at the lake is very beautiful in all the areas, will be surrounded by forests and hills. You can hike along the waterfalls, bike rail a few kilometers on the abandoned railway lines and relax as a naturist in nature.
