The town of Cap d’Agde is a normal town with the separate and independent resort of Naturist Cap d’Agde to the northeast part of town, on the Golfe du Lion on the Mediterranean about half way between Narbonne to the south and Montpellier to the North.

The three mile long Naturist Beach (and Village) in Cap D'Agde is unlike any other place in the world. You will be among every single kind of person you can imagine and some that you can't imagine. It has a very relaxed, atmosphere. Everybody is peacefully doing their own thing, enjoying the beach. 

The cost is approx 8 euros to access the village through which you have to go to get to the beach. As you turn left out of the village, the groupings seem to be families, then swingers, then gays (a good 500 metres down the beach). But there are no hard and fast rules.
