On the border of the Basque Country and not far from Spain and the Pyrenees lies the small seaside resort of Ondres.The large beach of Ondres measures 2 km long with a panoramic view of the Landes dune cord to the north, and the Basque mountain to the south. It is wide enough for bathers to enjoy some peace.

Quiet in the winter, but during the summer it becomes a playground for all: swimming, sandcastles, beach sports without forgetting surfing. There is 1800 meter area authorised for naturist use located south towards the blockhouses.
