The recreation area Spaarnwoude, is an area of approximately 3000 hectares, which is situated between Amsterdam, Haarlem and Velsen.

On the southern side in the area of Buitenhuizen nudist recreation is permitted, it is nicely situated in the forest with a small pond. It can be a little crowded (but never overcrowded), with all kind of visitors. Young people, older people and families come to this spot to enjoy the sun naked. The small pond suitable has a depth of approximately 1,40 meters. Nudist recreation is forbidden in the woods.

The highway is nearby, so it is not very quiet. Free entrance and free parking.
