Terschelling is the largest Frisian Wadden island and naturism is permitted across the whole of the beach. However the town requests that naturism is not practiced too close to the beach entrances however.

The white beaches are well maintained and surrounded by dunes. There are a plethora of water and beach-related sports played at all times. You will also see an immense amount of bikes close to the beach. Most residents will bike to the beach which provides a quiet atmosphere at all times of the year.
