Literally, Katwijk on the Sea is a seaside resort located on the North Sea at the mouth of the Oude Rijn.

This fully equipped beach is on the harbor side of the RAI exhibition center, next to Beatrix Park.Nudist recreation is tolerated on this beach from pole 89,250 to the south, until the third beach entrance where you can enjoy resting on the sandy beach and beautiful young dune areas.

In 2017 the beach received the blue flag award (each year without interruption since 2009) to guarantee its high quality water and cleanliness of beach.
