Little Makena Beach also known as Little Beach in Maui, is located just North of Big Beach (Makena Beach) in South Maui, Hawaii, USA. Little Beach is by far one of the most beautiful beaches in the Hawaiian Islands and the most famous nude beach. The narrow entry provides enough seclusion and discretion to enjoy naturism. 

Is it legal to be naked on Little beach? While public nudity is technically illegal in Hawaii, it has been generally accepted that this is a nude beach, and the law is not enforced here.

The Northern end of the beach is known as the gay part of the beach. The water here is perfect, crystal clear and those with goggles and snorkels will notice tropical fish swimming alongside. The white sand makes the water a bright turquoise shade of blue. It backs onto one of the largest cinder cones on Maui. Most people are low-key at Little Beach. But on Sundays, there’s a large sunset celebration featuring a circle of drums and other instruments, with fire dancing continuing into the night.
