Chimney Beach is located along Highway 28 about 2.6 miles south of Sand Harbor. A very pretty beach with white sand, some part is just rocky, some part is just flat. It is a clothing optional beach which is slowly being taken over by textiles, so there are a much smaller number of nudes here now. (Secret Beach is located about another 3/4 mile. farther south of Chimney Beach, is another beautiful clothing optional beach with a higher number of nude beach users).
The trail to the beach is marked with a sign near the restrooms. The trail goes just about straight down to the lake and then curves back a bit to your right near the shoreline. You'll know when you have found the beach when you see a derelict chimney and hearth left from a long-gone beachfront cabin.
