Rooster Rock State Park is a very scenic and beautiful park, located about 15 miles east of Portland on the beautiful Columbia Gorge River.

It welcomes, wind surfers, wind kiters, hikers, boaters, swimmers, picnic folks and nudists. The beautiful sandy beach of Rooster Rock is one of only two legally sanctioned clothing optional areas in Oregon. Since 2002 AANR and the park staff have worked together to create a family friendly non-sexual clothing optional recreational area of the park. There is a section of beach that is clothing required, but it is difficult to get to and honestly, the best beach is the clothing optional one because it includes Sand Island.

The vibe is positive, the location beautiful and people are nice.
