McFaddin Beach is a secluded seven-mile stretch of public beach near High Island Naturism is widely practiced on the last stretch of this of this long sandy beach. It is this isolation that makes the beach attractive to naturists. If the cops catch you au naturel, they will likely issue you a citation, but the geography of the peninsula makes it difficult for the sheriff's deputies to patrol.
You can safely drive up and down the beach, just be careful of getting stuck in the soft sand of the little turn-insMost people don't drive into it far enough down and give up and turn around, but don't just keep driving until you see the cars parked on the beach, also it is important that you drive far enough down because that removes you from the Galveston county line and their jurisdiction, NOTE: Even though your out of Galveston county a person can still be ticketed by the Game and Wildlife. So bring your binoculars and just cover up if you see a truck with that description.
