Panther Beach is an interesting sandy beach north of Santa Cruz near the hamlet of Davenport. Mostly deserted with maybe a handful of people, there are many interesting rock formations and at low tide there is another beach called Hole-In-The-Wall.

It is accessible through an opening in the rock wall on the south end of Panther Beach. Both of these beaches are known to be clothing-optional, but Hole In The Wall is more popular due to its seclusion.

Swimming can be dangerous because of rip currents and climbing on the rocks equally dangerous due to sneaker waves and strong surf.
