Green River is a popular swimming hole. It can get busy on hot weekend afternoons. One side is a farm field with no visible barn for a mile or so, and the other side is privately owned If you go later in the day (eve) it tends to be quite bucolic, especially the farther down river (away from the road) you get'. Follow the wading stream well past the popular swimming hole for 1/4 to 1/2 mile (400 to 800 m) you will come to an area traditionally used as clothing optional.
