Ältaren is a lake within Södermanland County and is nearby to Södermanland, Stålboga and Vindsbro. You will find the water here is brown due to dissolved plants.

The nude beach itself is situated about 20 km north of Malmköping and 22 km south of Strängnäs.

There are three small places to go, each well suited for a family or two, 30 to 50 m apart. Take a left when you arrive at the lake. you will find a large flat rock with easy access to the water. The middle one is straight ahead. It is also a rock beach but with slightly more difficult access to the water. The third beach is to your right approx 75 meters between the pines with easy access into the water with a pebble bottom.
