Malinska is situated in a wooded bay on the western side of the island of Krk with another twenty surrounding villages belongs to a territory known as Dubašnica. The Dubašnica bay has a wealth of coves and due to its geographical position; the area is protected against cold winds, with little rain and about 260 sunny days per year.
The climate is mild, Mediterranean. When you start walking from Haludovo, on the Paradise Way promenade the beach is on the left side and on the right side there is a forest. You will notice the first section of the beach is exclusively used by textile sunbathers. After a short walk there is clothing optional area where clothed and nude sunbathers happily mixed together.
The beach is mostly rocky with some little pebble coves but they get occupied early in the morning. Somewhere rocks are nice and flat, suitable for putting down your towel, but mostly they are pretty sharp and unpleasant. A portable deckchair is recommended. Underneath trees, the ground is grassy so you can also choose to settle yourself there.
This beach is not recommended for families with children since the descent into the water is quite steep and uncomfortable.
