The beach Las Gaviotas is certainly one of the prettiest and most recommended beaches on the island of Tenerife. This is the nudist sister to the beach of Las Teresitas. Situated three kilometers from the neighborhood of San Andrés, Las Gaviotas was closed to the public in order to enlarge and repave the sinuous access road and to preserve it from collapse.
Approx 260 meters in length and 50 meters wide it offers black sand where nudists and non-nudists share space with body-board fanatics. It is best to get to this beach in the morning, not only are you more likely to get a good spot to lay down your towel and parking too, but by late afternoon the sun hides behind a mountain which leaves the beach in the shade.

After traveling about 3 km you will reach a signpost on your right saying "Las Gaviotas". Take this exit and go down to the end of the road until you find the beach and the parking area.
