Agua Amarga is a wide blue flag urban beach that is one of the busiest in the area. It offers excellent environmental conditions like fine golden sands, crystalline and clean waters. The waters are calm, but care must be taken with the waves.
Flanked by a rocky cliff with small caves to the West of this beach, it is said that apparently were once inhabited. Bordering this cliff with a kayak or another kind of boat will take you to a small cove; people have traditionally gone to the cave here to take mud baths to soften skin.
In July and August nudism is quite scarce and often limited to one end.
