Playa de Castilnovo is a large beach of several kilometers in length which offers fine golden sand. Its occupation is low due to its remoteness. Often frequented by nudists.
When the wind blows from the east this beach gets quite blustery. The solitary beacon tower of Castilnovo rises above the horizon guarding this 3,0000 meter beach. It owes its name to the watchtower that is nearby, the Tower of Castilnovo.
This tower was used to communicate by fires at the top of the tower, the arrival of invaders from Africa, later, was used to direct the fleet of the trap by visual signals. The absence of buildings is one of the most striking features of this beach, which is the preferred option of users who want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of cities.
