Las Calas del Pino is located about 6 km east of Nerja, in the direction of Motril.It is an area protected by its surrounding vegetation.

As with most beaches in the area, Las Calas del Pino offers exceptionally clean waters. Snorkeling and diving is a pleasure.

The small cove is about 350 meters long with an average width of 10 m. Naturism is accepted here, particularly around the rocky formations that separates the two sections of this cove.

There are numerous rocky outcrops, caves and underwater formations to explore. Reaching this destination requires a little effort, this ensures that the beach never gets full, even during the summer.

Ease of Access Fairly difficult, the tracks that lead to the beach are quite steep. It is not far however, only 200 meters.

Directions Coming from Maro take the old coast road, the N-340. in the direction of Granda. Address Almuñécar / Motril. There is a lay-by with a sign for the beach, immediately after the 300 km marker on your right hand side. Park where you can. There are several paths leading to the beach. All of them are quite steep.The easiest seems to be heading down from the east if you take the path below the signpost to the right facing the sea. Be prepared for a bit of a scramble.
