Peñarrubia beach is a nudist beach located on the outskirts of Gijón, Asturias.
The 550 meter wide beach made up of of mainly gravel and a little sand, with moderate wave is surrounded by high cliffs that enclose an important fossil wealth.
After years of this beach being closed due to landslides, the authorities invested millions in making Peãrronda beach safer, and replacing the stairs.
In 2016 it re-opened.It is a well sheltered beach, which spends the mornings in the shade and receives full sun in the afternoon till sunset.
