The beach at Albufereta is a semi-urban beach 400 meters in length, of dark sand and calm waters. Situated to the northwest of Alicante, in the middle of a village of the same name, between the Serra Grossa and the Tossal de Manises.
After a few years of aggression of all kinds, it has recovered the Blue Flag status and the quality of its waters is excellent. The beach is mainly used by the inhabitants of the large residential area of the same name.
In its immediate surroundings, you can visit the ruins of the Ibero-Roman city of Lucentum, the embryo of the present city of Alicante.
