The beach of A Fontaiña is also known as Playa de la Sirenita. Located in Coruxo, to the left of the beach of O Vao, It has a length of 260 m and although it is not cataloged as a nudist beach, Playa de Fontaíña is a nudist-tolerant beach where one can practice it, being one of the few Vigo beaches where it is allowed.
The name "The Little Mermaid" is due to a sculpture of a siren placed on a rock. The beach is used for anchoring small boats, especially traditional wooden ones. This calm and collected beach is one of the best kept secrets of the Vigo- the entire coastline is littered with small beaches and coves.
La Sirenita is one of the most sheltered beaches. You will find here, that its waters are outstanding for its cleanliness and its sand is white and fine. Perfect to go with family It is an accessible beach, with wooden walkways that reach the sand.
