Cala Mesquida or s'Arenal de sa Mesquida is seven kilometers from Capdepera. This wide, fine-grained sandstone cove is nestled between low rocky ends in a dune system.
It has one of the largest colonies of gulls and cormorants of the Balearic archipelago. There is a large rock that divides the cove into two, to the right there are naturists and to the left textiles. The sea offers crystal clear waters.
Be careful when the North wind rises, as the currents and waves make this very open beach somewhat dangerous. To your left hand side you will see tourist and residential urbanisations.
