Cala Macarella is one of the most photographed coves in Menorca. Located south of Menorca, between Cala Galdana and Cala Turqueta. Near Macarella is Cove Macarelleta , a smaller cove and where nudism proliferates.
You can walk from one to the other in less than 10 minutes. These coves offer white sands, turquoise waters, high cliffs and pine trees. Cove Macarelleta is the most frequented of the two during the Summer months.

- Directions The route from Ciudadela is the same as to go to Cala Turqueta (take the south round at the exit to Mahón ) although you have to travel a little more distance and the road narrows. There are two parking areas at the cove.One will take approx 15 minutes to walk and another only 5. Depending on the time of day, to park in the nearby you will pay around € 5 for the whole day. If both car parks are full, it is better to go to another beach.
