Located seven kilometers from Capdepera. Cala Mesquida, is a wide, fine-grained sandstone cove nestled between low rocky ends in a dune system.This lovely cove is a place of indisputable environmental interest.
It was declared a Natural Area of Special Interest by the Parliament of the Balearic Islands in 1991.The North winds can give great waves blowing from sea to land.The right hand side is pure virgin nature free of buildings and often frequented by naturists. While on the left side grows from the decade of the seventies a tourist and residential nucleus just meters from the beach, is a popular destination for textile bathers.

- Directions To get to Cala Mesquida, follow the signs for Artà-Capdepera road. Once there, you can park your car in a free car park or in the streets of the urbanization near the cove.The last 100 meters to Cala Mesquida is taken on foot; Alternatively if travelling via bus, you will have a 200 meters walk to reach Cala Mesquida.There is a path that links Cala Mesquida with Cala Agulla, you can see hikers, cyclists and even horseback riding. This trail take approximately 30 minutes.
