Playa de Es Migjorn is a popular naturist beach approx 5 km in length, and is the largest beach of the island. With lovely soft white sand and rocks this beach offers totally transparent turquoise waters which resemble those of the Caribbean.
Accessed through the urbanization of Mal Pas or from the hotel complex and apartments called Es Ca Mari; In the surroundings there is a tower called d'es Pi d'es Català, it is not the most beautiful area. The middle section of the beach is the most beautiful, and is named Es Valencians. Approx 4,000 meters further are small stretches in the form of coves and somewhat more extensive beaches, golden sand and intermediate texture. Playa de Es Migjorn is very accessible; With large parking, there is also a wooden board walk boarding the whole of beach.
The dune are impressive, of high altitude and there are sand cords that run parallel to the coastline the interior area, but very degraded by the urbanized environment. The poseidonia is spectacular.
The last section of the beach corresponds to the end near the cliffs of the pillar of the Mola, called Els Arenals and Mar i Land, also called Es Copinyar, has a significant concentration of hotels along approx 700 meters. Naturism is practiced all over the beach, especially in the areas a little away from hotels. This beach has sections to suit all tastes and really is a virgin and natural paradise.

- Directions To get to Migjorn beach from Formentera there are different accesses depending on the stretch of coast to which you want to arrive. From La Savina and on the road PM 820 in the direction of La Mola, cross the villages of Sant Francesc Xavier and San Ferran de Ses Roques, until reaching approx kilometer 8.5. (perfectly signposted). At this point turn right taking a dirt road that will travel to the end.
