Sotavento beach is a sand and stones beach that usually receives strong waves and wind. Located in the municipality of Agaete in Gran Canaria. Located between the beach of Farenoque and the one of Guayedra.
Sotavento beach extends 200 meters and has an average width of 34 meters. It is a nudist beach surrounded by a virgin and quiet area. and composed of black sand of volcanic nature.

- Directions If you want to get to the municipality by car, you should know that the road from the capital is one of the most comfortable, since it borders the north coast of the island with hardly any curves in its route. In just 30 minutes you can reach the Port of Las Nieves.If your option is to use public transport, you should approach the Guagua Station in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and get on the bus number 103 .It’s access is done through the Guayedra ravine which can be crossed by foot or ATV.The road leading to the beach is dirt, so it is advisable to use SUVs. Later, it is necessary to walk more than a mile to reach the beach. Therefore, it is not a beach not suitable for all audiences.
