Las Salinas is a bathing place between cliffs on the rugged coast of Arucas. Located in a virgin area, at the foot of an old saline. In the area there are three natural pools, which are connected by tunnels.
Thanks to these quiet swimming pools the Playa de las Salinas has become a must-see place for lovers of diving because in them it is possible to observe with great ease the flora and the Marine wildlife in the area.
For those looking for luxury - you won't get it. It's open to the elements (especially the wind) and surrounded by volcanic rock. But, it is a glorious little spot - great for watching the sunset as well as the beautiful scenery with natural pools. The waves come in from the ocean but the water in the pools is calm and clear. Natural "swimming pool".
Volcanic rock in the cavity in which water accumulates. The tide pours new water cools and the sun warms it up. There are metal ladders to make it easier to enter and exit. A relaxed atmosphere, which can get quite busy during the summer months.
