Located on Portugal's northern coast, near Viana do Castelo, Praia do Cabedelo is a beautiful clean white sandy blue flag beach backed by large sand dunes and pine trees in the surroundings, offering a pleasant view over the city.
Praia do Cabedelo is a great spot for relaxing and feeling at one with nature, it is popular with naturists and is also a popular surf spot.
The waters are cold and restless, which is quite typical in this coast.The beach does get windy but sit against the dunes and it's a sun trap.
