The beach of Xerokampos in the extreme southeast of Crete and can be reached from the village of Ziros or from the village of Zakros located further north. There are three main beaches and several smaller ones, and it is upon these smaller which you will find fellow naturists.
The first main beach you will come to is Mazida beach; a long wide beach of golden sand, wild with no facilities. The second beach you come to offers sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. There are also a few tavernas. Following these two large beaches, you will find a series of smaller secluded sandy bays.
The most beautiful beach in the area is just under the St. Nicholas church (a 15 min walk from the main beach, or a 5 min scramble down the cliff from the church), a very small & closed, with natural rock formations and just a five minute's walk from the main beach. The last in line is Alatsolimni beach: a sandy beach with a salt lake behind it, where you will find rare birds. Xerocampos was a real heaven for naturists.
