Goudouras is a village in the southeast of the island of Crete. The beach is situated between two villages, Goudouras and Asprolitho.
The huge beach has small pebbles, and very clear crystalline waters ideal for snorkeling. As usual, the nudist part is at the far end but it's sandy and very pleasant. There is also a footpath from Goudouras which leads to the Gorge of the Red Butterflies – a very impressive canyon, which is really worth a visit.
