Gialiskari beach is situated on Crete's south coast, 4 km east of Paleochora at the end of the Anidri Gorge. There are three beaches. The nearest two are pebbly and they are at the mouth of the gorge from the village of Anidri.
The third beach is the farthest away and is the nicest and naturist. It is made up of fine shingle and sand this beach is more sheltered, with large rocks on the western end offering some protection and privacy. A natural spring feeds into the sea here.
