Roseisle Beach is a large sand and pebble beach which sits between
Findhorn Beach and Burghead Beach on Burghead Bay. The sandy beach is sheltered by sand dunes and offers views across the Moray Firth.
Punctuated with concrete blocks to stop enemies from using the beach as a perfect landing place to offload tanks in WWII.
Backed by Scots Pine Forests with picnic area and public toilets. Endless walks, wartime defences. Well used by walkers cyclists and horse riders. The beach is very shallow and ideal for children. Occasional dolphin sightings.
The beach is well known to locals and can get busy at the boardwalk entrance. However with long stretches of soft sand either side, it’s not hard to find a secluded spot. Even on a busy day there is plenty of beach to share and get your own space to relax.
