Description :
Spencerville is a sandy beach located south of the Waimakariri River, north of Christchurch. There is an unofficial naturist area north of the beach, two hundred meters left from the Heyders Road entrance.There is a lake forest and includes a large (1 hectare) park and 80 hectare camping ground near by.

Directions
Spencerville is located south of the Waimakariri River, north of Christchurch. From Christchurch City head north on Fitzgerald Avenue, then straight onto Whitmore Street, and onto Hills Road. Continue round onto Akaroa Street and Briggs Road, then turn left onto Marshland Road, heading out of town. Turn right onto Lower Styx Road (Sign posted to Spencer Park). At Spencerville turn right onto Heyders Road, go north (left) 200 m up the beach to the nudist area.
