Description :
Twin Dolphin Beach was the local name given to the proper Mexican name; Playa Las Viudas. Beach signs along the highway now show Playa Las Viudas. The Hotel Twin Dolphin is no longer in operation. It has been closed since 2006.
Playa Las Viudas is a small and isolated beach, reported as being suitable for unofficial nudism. On its coasts and sands it has rock formations. Ideal for snorkeling and diving to view the amazing reefs below. Within its coasts are the small coves of volcanic rock formations and the natural pools. However, it is not a beach suitable for swimming without precaution, let alone visiting with infants, due to its rocky conditions and strong waves.
It is a favorite local place for privacy and relaxation.
