  • Description : The Deep Creek Hot Springs are clothing optional and located along the Mojave River, on public land near Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino National Forest. Situated only two hours away from Los Angeles. This stretch of canyon has four or five pools and is a clothing optional oasis. The biggest is the size of a hot tub; the smallest, no bigger than a bathtub. Some pools have been formed naturally in the granite by years of erosion. Other pools have been altered with rocks and mortar to make them deeper. The water gurgles out of cracks in the adjacent granite knoll.

There are several wide flat sandy areas to layout and sun, and others cliff jump and slackline as well. Natural hot springs are rare in Southern California, mainly because of the lack of searing underground volcanic rock to heat subterranean water. Don’t submerse your head under the water in the hot springs. There seems to be an amoeba in these water that causes a nasty illness known as Naegleria fowleri. The area is completely natural and undeveloped. The springs are situated on different elevations up the wall of the creek bed. You just need to watch your footing when climbing up and down from one pool to the next. The law of hot springs is; The smaller the pool, the hotter the water.

Nude hiking, Nude Soaking, Nude climbing and slack lining are great ways to get back in touch with nature and to relax and rejuvenate. But you won't be shunned if you keep your swimsuit on.
