  • Description : Hengistbury Head is a scenic and historic headland near the town of Bournemouth on the south coast of England. It stands mid way between Poole harbour and Hurst spit and forms the main division between Poole and Christchurch Bays.

    The beach is not really rated very highly by Naturists. When you have the much nicer beach of Studland only a few miles to the west it's hardly surprising.

  • Directions To get to the beach, aim first for Poole (from west) or Bournemouth (from north or east) then go for "Southbourne". Hengistbury Head. There is parking at the visitor centre. Go to the beach and head east (turn left) and walk for about half a mile. The naturist area is where there are low smoothed rocks above high tide level away from the cliff’s face. If you can not see any nuddies here go as far as the rocks for peace of mind. This beach is not rated very highly by Naturists, many believing Studland beach to be much nicer.
