  • Description : Smithska cape is situated at the south of the peninsula at the southern end of Gothenburg. It is a popular spot among people of all ages. Here you find bathing platforms and cliffs as well as green areas. There’s also a playground for the kids.

    Large rocks may make this beach a little unsuitable for children. Swimming itself is lovely with clean fresh water and ladders to get in and out of the water.

  • Directions With public transport it’s a 40 minute ride to the stop Näsbovägen. From there, you walk for about 20 minutes to get to the cape. Naturists should head for the south-west part of Smithska udden.Or park your car in the parking lot at the Smithska way, you will walk for 200 meters from the parking lot.
