Description : Dubrovnik area has several naturist beaches which are well worth visiting. A well known beach is Cava; located on Babin Kuk peninsula, about 6km from Dubrovnik’s old town. The beach is very long and divided in two parts by a large FKK sign.

It is a secluded pebble and stone beach with some flat sunbathing areas. During the afternoon, the far end of the beach offers the sunniest aspect.

The first part of the beach is mainly textile and topless but going along the beach for about 100 meters and crossing a small rocky outcrop. The remainder is virtually all naturist.

Directions Getting to Cava is not too difficult. Take the bus no 6 to the hotel Valamar President. Here you follow the path leading down to the beaches. There are signs leading to Cava. On your left there will be the long stone stairs leading to Cava through some bushes and trees. If you find yourself on a crowded pebble beach with restaurants, you will have to go back uphill, because you have missed it!
