Description : The beach of Vega, in Ribadesella, is a huge wilderness corner, to the delight the lovers of nature offering an almost virgin beach which contains elements of great botanical value, such as golden mosquitoes, a plant that has only been located in this point of the Asturian coast and its dune systems.

Being very open, this sandy beach has large waves and is very popular among surfers. The most western end is frequented by nudists/naturists. A few meters from the eastern end of the beach parking lot, there are outcrops upon which there is a series of alternating limestones and grey marls where you will see at the base of this bed there are several tracks of tridactyl bipedal dinosaurs prints!

Directions From the coastal highway N-632, head west from Ribadesella 6 km until arriving near the town of Torre. From here, take the paved road 1.8 km to the Vega beach, You will reach the sand where there is pedestrian access, ramps and stairs.There are two car parks one free of charge which is the first one and one bigger that is the one of payment. Taking a place in the first is usually difficult as there are few places and there are people who settle there and sleep in the van.Also the payment is approx 5 euros for the whole day you can come and go and it is quite spacious.
