In recent years naturism in Slovenia has taken backward steps.

There are no official naturist beaches, just a handful of wild beaches where the practice of naturism exists partly due to the goodwill of private landlords.

It is believed by some that the main cause of this change in attitudes is the Catholic church and fear that naturism is a form of sexual perversion. Maybe we will see some positive growth in naturism here again soon.
