Praia da Galheta is semi-desert, with access by a trail of 300 meters from the coast north of Mole. It is a very beautiful beach which attracts different types of visitors: naturists, tourists, locals, surfers, etc. Ideal for those who enjoy nature in all its extension. Crystalline waters and moderate to large range of 950 meters of beach with fine white sand. Some of the natural beauties of the beach are the small freshwater streams, spouts of water that arise from the hill of the Galheta Municipal Nature Park. Protected by a hill that keeps it isolated from the road, Galheta has been frequented by naturists since the 1970s, and practice is not compulsory. Naturists have been highlighted over the years as guardians of the park, collecting garbage, fight not only against seizures and undue degradation of fauna, flora and soil, but also recovering the vegetation by planting trees. less
