Pros: Very easy access via the main walking track. No need to scramble over any rocks at all.

Cons: Urban development at Long Bay means a lot more foot traffic with the main track used a lot.

Summary: The beauty and drawback of this beach is its ease of access. A well used gravel track runs from the northern most carpark directly to the bay. No rock scrambling is needed. The day I visited there was a pleasant vibe with about a dozen people just after the mid afternoon high tide. I visited mid week on a hot sunny day. You’re likely to get curious passersby who seem fairly harmless. It is a bit weird having fully clothed people do a lap or so up and down the beach. I’d definitely recommend.
