Perfect beach on Formentera if you like it quiet and natural.
    Recommended May 25, 2020 - by WalkingSkyclad
Pros: White sand, rocks, smaller and bigger coves, quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: You have to be early in the day, if you want to find a small cove of your own. ;)

Summary: Platja de Sa Roqueta has been my favourite beach during my visit of Formentera. It was a bit of a walk from my hotel in Es Pujols, but more than worth it. Coming from the south you will first find some smaller coves, which have a nice secluded character. But you have to be early in the morning if you want to have such a nice secluded place of your own. Further to the north there is a larger bay with beautiful white sand and a a rocky landscape that is really beautiful as well. This is more of a regular beach, but it was never crowded. Like most beaches on Formentera apart from the ones near the main tourist hot spots, Sa Roqueta is clothing optional. I found the smaller coves almost exclusively occupied by naked sunbathers, while the bigger cove in the north was mixed 60% naturists/40% textiles most of the time
