Summary: The 'First Used' date actually isn't correct, this sauna already exists for decades, and I've been visiting it for a very long time, but now has a new owner who upgraded it considerably. But is indeed was my very first visit to this renewed facility after years and years of Covid rules - and I so intensely enjoyed it! This sauna is located 4.5 kilometres outside of the city centre of Weesp, next to the Amsterdam Rijnkanaal and the golf club, within a green oasis environment of polders - within a further urban environment. It's a spacious facility, totally 'unisex' and you're asked to stick to the friendly house rules of wearing a bath robe (especially in the very good restaurant) and slippers - but since a bath robe is clunky, and the majority of sauna cabins so practically close to each other, many just wear a towel or basically nothing at all - which I like! And there is quite a big outside to it, with big swimming pool, sauna's, meadows, chairs, and so on, and so forth, where you can go naked - just do keep a friendly eye on your co-visitors, would be my personal advise, if they're okay with that too (according to house rules, you officially 'should' wear a bath robe, but since you're not exactly within a residential area, no one will look strange at you or 'correct' you!) And mind you, though you could go for an excellent, 'regular' sauna visit, this place is a Spa too, with a gazillion possible treatments and massages (non-******, of course!) and bells and whistles! And also with a great hamam and dito treatment. Yes, the price is somewhat expensive but once inside, you'll see why, and will definitely not regret you paid that amount for it (around €45 for a FULL day's admission, and free use of ALL 'regular' facilities, shampoo(s) and soap(s) and scrubs)! I highly, wholeheartedly recommend this favorite sauna of mine! You can book and pay ahead online.
