I haven’t actually run into other hikers, but once was spotted by dog walkers from a cross road. They looked for a few seconds then moved on. And, like you, I tried it bare foot once…too many pine cones! It’s such a great feeling…naturism at its best!

It's 8:30am here and the website is finally working for me again (had some server issues for a bit), so I'm about to get myself drowned in coffee and consider what I want to draw today. Then out later to check out a X-Mas market and then to a friend's to help with decorating her place for the holiday. (sadly, not naked as her older daughter will be there and the child's father has ABSOLUTELY forbid my nakedness anywhere near her under threat of legal intervention
So it's going to be a rather full day! less

2022 was a bit chilly but the sun was out, 23 was better it was really warm, we think it was possibly the only decent week of the year, as rained pretty much after that.

After taking some time to reflect on recent discussions, I'm thrilled to announce my return to active participation in our vibrant community. Your concerns regarding the AI-generated images have been heard, and I'm committed to engaging in the ongoing dialogue about their usage on ANW. Moving forward, I'll be only creating AI that resembles drawings or paintings, placing emphasis on the written message to ensure a balance that aligns with our shared values. I appreciate your support and look forward to contributing to the broader conversation about the future of AI in our community. Let's work together to find solutions that uphold the essence of naturism while respecting everyone's comfort and privacy.

A couple of times through France on our way back from staying at Euronat, and quite often when returning from life modelling sessions. The feel of restrictive clothes whilst driving after enjoying naked freedom for a period is just too much! less

I also done it a couple of times after a life model session. I found it very anticlimactic to drive home in clothe after experiencing the special atmosphere a life modelling session generates. Unfortunately it’s not always possible to do so.

After 10 minutes, I stopped on the side of the robe and went entirely naked in the warm car. I immediately felt better and could enjoy my drive back. Putting naturism at the center of all that I do really makes me happy. Driving is one of those activities!

If you are newer to ANW or missed this blog the first time around, check it out. I believe it's a good look into child nudity in art and society's current trend of drowning it out in the interests of puritanism. https://www.anaturistworld.com/blog/45746/the-past-and-future-of-youth-in-nude-fine-art-on-the-internetless

So true Edward. I look back at images taken 10 years ago and I know the weight has slowly trickled up. Not dramatic at the time but evident in comparison.

Yes we should all be accepted by fellow naturists and not be made to feel judged or disapproved of for our bodies, and naturism should not pander to media ideas of perfection. But we should not see that as an excuse to not wish to stay healthy or neglect the idea of living long and active lives. I think, and not just in naturism, that there has been a movement to almost celebrate being overweight, just as the media also encourages people to be underweight and fuels eating disorders and body loathing. We should be encouraged to not have hang ups about our bodies, or make ourselves ill with worry and/or attempts to find the approval of ourselves and others, or feel the need to go under the surgeon knife to find "perfection" - but we should also feel the need to look after ourselves and that wanting to be healthier is a completely sensible want. Finding a natural balance is pretty much the best answer to everything in life. less
