Quite a few of the towns belonging to these counties are considered part of the sprawl of what is know as Greater Manchester, of which the actual city centre is about forty minutes on a good days driving in the car away.
There is no shortage of places to visit for us, we have often travelled out to scenic places such as Ladybower, or Derwent, where they practiced for the Dambusters raids during WW2. The biggest problem for us is Clubs that offer naturist facilities.
Manchester has a Sun and Air society, and one would say “Wonderful” The problem for us is, that it is so far away from us, it will take too much time on busy congested roads to get there to be even worth a visit, let alone membership. For a... less

Am i the only one having this kind of troubles with the site? Since the update in january a lot of things keep going wrong or are not functioning. And also the performance is terrible.

I am finding the site o.k. if I use the laptop but a bit glitchy when I use the phone. I just assumed that it was because my phone is a bit old ( well, in technology terms, anyway!).

This is an error that we have not seen ourselves and so have not passed it on to a developer to put right until reading this complaint on the activity feed. We know that there have been some issues created during the transfer and upgrade of the site to a more future proof "setting" and we are working at correcting any issues on a daily basis. less

I spent most of my lifetime trying to live up to others' expectations of who I was and what sort of person I should be. While I wasn't 'ashamed' of my body, I was only comfortable with being nude with my most closely trusted friends. It took over 50 years for me to discover why my life never quite felt 'right'.
When I realized that I was transgender - a woman's mind in a male body - it was a personal epiphany. When I began living as a woman, I suddenly felt whole, and personally validated. Yet even as I went through medical and legal transition, there were still certain aspects of my incompletely transitioned body which I was very uncomfortable with showing to others - even to very close friends.
But when I joined a local nudist resort, part way through my medical transition, my life changed again. The wonderful members of what I am now very proud to call my home resort welcomed and accepted me, and gave me the courage to not be ashamed of my body. I love my life now. As a nudist, I can be my TRUE SELF!

The best way to find total comfort when hiking free is to hike with others. As a group, we are stronger and more confident when meeting other clothed hikers.
