Summary:
I have been reading this magazine on and off since my early twenties when I first became interested in naturism and when I realised that although I had limited opportunities to be a naturist that H&E offered me a connection to the lifestyle that I already appreciated as more than just getting naked. Although I thought some of the more glamorous photoshoots were not to my taste as a naturist I realised that the magazine did a great job at promoting the lifestyle and there was plenty to read and think about and plenty of real people in the magazine to reassure me that I was not alone in believing in the lifestyle. As years have gone by H&E has likewise changed and developed. If anything is to last for over 100 years as H&E does it cannot afford to stay trapped in one era. The magazine is full of regular and one off columns, interesting information, news and advice for naturists in Britain (H&E's home) and around the world. It is fantastic and I think very important that it still goes to press every month. A physically available magazine adds credibility to naturism and places it in the world along side other lifestyle magazine like Sports, parenting, cooking, decorating etc. With overseas postage and online subscriptions also available I urge everyone who cares about naturism to give this magazine a try. Anna and I are proud to see are own contributions and images in H&E
