Mikhmoret Beach lies north of Tel Aviv between Netanya and Caesarea. The northern section of the beach attracts naturists and campers as this is where the camiste is. This is a quiet, white sandy beach where there is a laid-back atmosphere. The beach is particularly popular with families with small children.
There is a natural "Wave-break" (Shover-Galim) that prevents strong waves from hitting. The beach is long and wide in most of its parts. It has sandy parts and rocky parts, the sand is golden, and the water is clean and smooth. Further north of Mikhmoret Beach is a nature reserve where turtles come to from May to August in order to lay their eggs in the sand. Close to the beach is Alexander stream.
It is a nice place to visit, with a small park and a bridge on which sea-turtles come to the surface to bask in the sun. Windsurfers are also attracted to Mikhmoret Beach because of the good conditions all year round for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing.
