Morjim is a village situated in North Goa in the Pernem district on the north bank of the Chapora River estuary. Morjim Beach is one of the secluded beaches of North Goa where one can just sit peacefully and enjoy the atmosphere on this broad 3km long beach quite beach.
This beach has been reported to receive naturist tourists.It is a nesting site for Olive Ridley sea turtles, which have been in decline on this beach due to tourist activity. Morjim Beach has been dubbed as "Little Russia", due to the high number of Russian expatriates living there. Keep in mind that nudity is illegal in India and avoid visiting these beaches in monsoon.
